With a large multidisciplinary workforce, the institution provides comprehensive medical services across numerous specialist departments.</p> <p data-start="316" data-end="564">As part of a larger healthcare network with several facilities and a broad range of social and healthcare services, the organisation is supported by a well-established provider group with extensive experience in hospital and social care management.</p> <p data-start="566" data-end="786" data-is-last-node="" data-is-only-node="">The trauma surgery ward is currently seeking a dedicated <strong data-start="623" data-end="693">Nursing Specialist / Healthcare Assistant – Trauma Surgery</strong> to join the team at the earliest possible date, in either full-time employment.</p>

<p data-start="0" data-end="37"><strong data-start="0" data-end="37">Responsibilities </strong></p> <ul data-start="39" data-end="726" data-is-last-node="" data-is-only-node=""> <li data-section-id="4wv1p0" data-start="39" data-end="123"> Holistic care and monitoring of trauma surgery patients before and after surgery </li> <li data-section-id="1q1oiuf" data-start="124" data-end="200"> Pain management, mobilisation, and support in the rehabilitation process </li> <li data-section-id="ecljyl" data-start="201" data-end="286"> Professional wound care, dressing changes, and assistance with medical procedures </li> <li data-section-id="1oijfqo" data-start="287" data-end="394"> Early detection of complications and initiation of appropriate measures according to clinical standards </li> <li data-section-id="e5ars9" data-start="395" data-end="540"> Documentation of nursing care and interdisciplinary collaboration with medical staff, physiotherapy/occupational therapy, and social services </li> <li data-section-id="1pgyzr1" data-start="541" data-end="604"> Instruction and counselling of patients and their relatives </li> <li data-section-id="1k9aur3" data-start="605" data-end="726" data-is-last-node=""> Contribution to quality improvement in nursing care, onboarding of new colleagues, and possibly supervision of trainees</li></ul>

<p data-start="0" data-end="24"><strong data-start="0" data-end="24">Profile Requirements</strong></p> <ul data-start="26" data-end="624" data-is-last-node="" data-is-only-node=""> <li data-section-id="l281e1" data-start="26" data-end="108"> Completed training as a qualified nursing professional or healthcare assistant </li> <li data-section-id="1ixaa19" data-start="109" data-end="278"> Ideally professional experience in orthopaedics and/or trauma surgery (experience in the operating theatre, recovery room, or intermediate care unit is an advantage) </li> <li data-section-id="zshh7f" data-start="279" data-end="345"> Commitment, sense of responsibility, and enjoyment of teamwork </li> <li data-section-id="is05pd" data-start="346" data-end="443"> Empathetic interaction with patients and their relatives, including in challenging situations </li> <li data-section-id="14z0l1u" data-start="444" data-end="523"> Structured and reliable working style as well as willingness to work shifts </li> <li data-section-id="1su0qxj" data-start="524" data-end="624" data-is-last-node=""> Interest in further training and continuing education, and in the development of nursing standards</li></ul>
